It’s been a huge year for us here at VST Venues as we go ‘all in’ on venues and open up other premium site services.
One of the services we deliver (and acronyms we’ve invented) is our OVD – Outsourced Venues Department, so we thought you might like to understand a little more about exactly what it is, what it does, and how it could accelerate the growth of your agency.
So, what does an Outsourced Venues Department look like?
Well, we couldn’t find a perfect image of a call centre type of environment (that isn’t a call centre) that has experienced team members, predominantly female and mostly working Mums. This is what AI produced, impressive huh?
Then we thought, this isn’t us… we’re not AI, we are REAL people with REAL stories and REAL life experiences, exactly who you’d want representing your brand or charity. So, we thought we’d show you what our Outsourced Venues Department actually looks like:
…and yes that’s a real Goldendoodle called Teddy (our Chief Happiness Officer), who likes nothing more than to be involved in our ‘all staff’ meetings, or particularly when we’re discussing booking data and ROI in a management meeting.
Whilst we’re talking about AI (Artificial Intelligence) lets just clarify that we don’t use AI to create imagery, we use it for:
- Listening to our calls for compliance, quality, and training purposes
- Heat mapping the UK to ensure we’re not overworking stores but conversely, to direct our clients to underworked stores that they may decide to send a team on a road trip to even build a team in this area

What is an Outsourced Venues Department?
