Last Wednesday, 3rd July 2024, the VST Venues senior management team attended an enjoyable and motivating evening at the National Fundraising Awards 2024.
Our Partnerships Director and Founder, Andrew Smart, was lucky enough to be able to present the prestigious ‘Fundraiser of the Year’ award to Charlotte De Corpo of Capital Theatres.
Her expertise helped shape the Scottish landscape through delivering transformational capital appeals. Of which included the £69m redevelopment of the Award-winning Burrell Collection in Glasgow, and a £36m campaign for Capital Theatres in Edinburgh. Congratulations again, Charlotte, for the magnitude of fundraising work you have delivered.
Andrew presented the award with the CEO of The Chartered Institute of Fundraising (CIoF), Katie Docherty, as well as the fantastic host for the evening Paul Sinha (aka the Sinnerman from ITV’s The Chase).
Once again, it was a privilege to be amongst such worthy winners and nominees across this fantastic and essential sector. Congratulations to all of the nominated fundraisers throughout the course of the night, and everyone involved in the event itself. From all of us here at VST Venues team, we had a brilliant night.
