We are celebrating international Women's day at VST Venues today. With our predominantly female workforce, VST is a living and breathing demonstration of what women can achieve.
We are also uniquely placed to understand and overcome the challenges that women traditionally face in the workplace. Since we were founded in 2007, we have strived to provide that much needed work life balance that is so important to all but especially women who still in 2024 are more likely to take on the burden of domestic duties and childcare. Just think, who do school tend to call when children are sick? Which parent is more likely to lose working hours or opportunity for career progression?
At VST we are passionate that no one will loose out on the opportunity for career progression or learning and developing as an individual, no matter what their circumstances. I myself have enjoyed over a decade of flexible working whilst rising through the ranks from a part-time Quality Assurance Executive to Managing Director. Whilst never missing a sports day or school play.
So this International Women’s Day we are joining with so many others to inspire inclusion and acknowledge all of our amazing female colleagues.
